Sense organ eye

 Eye or Vision  Anatomy of the eye-        Eye is the organ of sense for sight ,which situated in the orbital cavity or eye socket  Eye is the the spherical shaped organ in the sense which is help in vision or sensory vision .  It's about 2.5 CM in diameter and  three layers of the eye are completely covered There are three layer is-  1.Outer layer or tunica fibrous 2.Middle layer or tunica vasculosa 3.Inner layer or Tunica Nervosa   1.Outer layer or tunica fibrous- - Outer layer consists of two structure cornea and sclera . It is outermost avascular layer of eyes which preserve the shape of eye ,  A nteriorly consists of cornea and posteriorly consists of sclera.  A. Parkinson's disease

            Introduction  of Parkinson disease-

it is a degenerative disease occurred due to degeneration of dopamine producing cell. which resulting in dopamine deficiency  disease.
 play an important role in sensory filtering Parkinson disease occur due to dysfunction of extrapyramidal tract , most of develop in the age over 60 year , Parkinson is mainly caused by  a dopamine factor.




            Etiology

 - exact cause is unknown but some toxic environment , chemicals such as pesticides and carbon monoxide are suspected contributing factors for developing Parkinson's disease,
 -  Sach family history can cause the Parkinson's disease


       




    clinical manifestation


  -   monotonous speech 
  - mask like face
   -  loss of coordination and balance 
    -Akinesia (loss of control of voluntary muscles movement) 
  -  three Cardinal features are ( tremor, rigidity and bradykinesia (abnormal slow movement )
   - handwriting become progressively smaller.
  

    management

  management of Parkinson disease its following states.
   
 dietary management-
to provide small frequent high calorie protein fibre and soft diet.

Medical management -
     administered combination of carbidopa and levodopa,  because dopamine itself cannot cross blood brain barrier (BBB), carbidopa must be given because it prevent destruction of levodopa in liver .
    admitted amantadine (antiviral agents are also used to treatment Parkinson disease).              administered bromocriptine because it active dopamine receptor in CNS to increase secretion of dopamine. 
    Encourrage the client to lift feet when walking and to avoid prolonged the sitting.advised to avoid food rich in vitamin B6 because it blocks the effect of anti Parkinson's medications.
